I use AI heavily in my creative and technical work, but I do not treat it as the author of every decision.
For me, AI is most useful before and around the moment of judgment: exploring story directions, structuring research, testing content strategy, planning workflows, creating alternative approaches and helping turn an idea into something I can evaluate faster.
Speed is not the same as taste
An AI system can generate options quickly. It cannot automatically know which option belongs to the emotional world of a particular project, which performance choice should remain imperfect, or when a technically cleaner answer is creatively weaker.
That is where human direction stays central. I use AI to widen the search space, then apply experience, context and taste to decide what survives.
The workflow I prefer
Idea → AI-assisted exploration → human selection → structured plan → creative execution → review → refinement.
The goal is not to make the human disappear from the process. The goal is to remove repetitive friction so more attention can go to the part that still matters most: story, emotion and judgment.
